1. The Heritage Agreement
The Longevitarian Ltd operates under a “Heritage Agreement.” This reflects a mutual understanding that the human body is an intentional creation, possessing innate restorative mechanisms. By accessing these services, you enter a “Shared Journey” of ancestral nutritional education. You acknowledge that you remain the primary architect of your own health; the Coach’s role is strictly limited to providing an educational framework and GAPS (Gut and Psychology/Physiology Syndrome) protocol knowledge to support your self-directed objectives.
2. Professional Status and Scope of Practice
The Coach is a Certified GAPS Coach (CGC).
- Educational Nature: All guidance, whether delivered via digital content, virtual workshops, or one-to-one sessions, is provided for educational and supportive purposes only.
- Non-Medical Declaration: The Coach is not a medical doctor, dietitian, or licensed healthcare professional. These services do not constitute the practice of medicine, nursing, or any other licensed healthcare profession.
- Clinical Exclusion: Guidance is restricted to home-based nutritional application. The Coach is strictly prohibited from, and will not engage in, the demonstration of clinical procedures, medical administration, or the clinical supervision of detoxification.
3. Medical Consultation and Client Duty of Care
It is imperative that all clients maintain an active relationship with a qualified medical professional for the duration of their engagement with The Longevitarian Ltd.
- Duty to Consult: The client is obligated to seek the advice and formal approval of their General Practitioner (GP) or another qualified medical professional prior to the implementation of any nutritional or lifestyle changes discussed.
- Full Disclosure: The client bears the sole responsibility for informing their medical provider of any GAPS protocol recommendations.
- Verification of Literature: The client holds a formal duty to verify all information provided by the Coach against the primary GAPS literature authored by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride.
4. Workshop Participation and Kitchen Safety
Participation in workshops—whether delivered via virtual platforms or held on-site—involves inherent risks associated with traditional food preparation.
For Virtual Workshops:
- Environment Control: The client acknowledges that they are operating within their own domestic kitchen. The client is obligated to ensure their workspace is safe, hygienic, and free from hazards.
- Self-Supervision: As the Coach cannot physically oversee the client’s actions, the client assumes full responsibility for the safe handling of knives, heat sources, and pressurized equipment.
- Technical Guidance: Any technical failure (internet connection or audio-visual lag) is a risk of the virtual format. The client should pause their participation if they cannot clearly see or hear a safety-critical instruction.
For On-Site Workshops (When Applicable):
- Assumption of Risk: Attendees assume all risk of personal injury arising from the use of tools and equipment provided at the venue.
- Allergies: It is the client’s responsibility to notify the Coach of severe allergies prior to attendance.
General Food Safety:
- Post-Preparation Handling: The client is responsible for ensuring correct cooling, storage, and reheating temperatures in accordance with UK Food Standards Agency guidelines once a preparation is complete.
5. Detoxification Protocols and Lifestyle Guidance
The GAPS protocol may involve educational discussions regarding detoxification (including juicing, therapeutic baths, and enemas).
- Informational Context: Information regarding such procedures is derived strictly from GAPS literature. These procedures are neither mandatory nor clinically prescribed by the Coach.
- Discretionary Implementation: Any detoxification procedure is undertaken entirely at the client’s own discretion and risk.
- Clinical Clearance: It is imperative that the client obtains specific medical clearance before attempting any intensive detoxification protocol. The Coach will not provide direct or indirect supervision during the execution of these procedures.
6. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
- Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, the total liability of The Longevitarian Ltd for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific service in question.
- Exclusion of Losses: The Longevitarian Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the client’s failure to seek medical advice, improper food handling, or lack of kitchen safety.
- Indemnity: The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Longevitarian Ltd and the Coach against all claims, losses, or legal expenses arising from the client’s breach of this agreement or the misapplication of the GAPS protocol.
7. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
- Ownership: All materials, recipes, and digital guides are the exclusive intellectual property of The Longevitarian Ltd and are protected under UK Copyright Law.
- Personal Use Only: Materials are provided for private use within the client’s immediate household. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use (including the sharing of workshop links or recordings) is strictly prohibited.
- Confidentiality: Client data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR. To maintain professional standards, the Coach may discuss de-identified cases with a professional supervisor, ensuring the client’s identity remains strictly confidential.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to engage in “Friendly Negotiations” for a minimum period of 30 days before initiating formal legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales.
